i work in a very niche manufacturing industry doing estimating and i've been getting new pricing guidelines for different vendors every other day for weeks i am so fucking tired, how are you surviving tbh
every once in a while we emerge from our offices and get teary eyed as one of us announces something crazy like "trump decided on 400% tariffs to go into effect in a week" and every day we end with a few drinks in the staff lounge trying to devise plans to alleviate the impact of tariffs on our end consumers it's been EXHAUSTING to say the least anon
every time i open an email that says "we are now calculating XYZ & CO at this outrageous percentage because tariffs and fuck you" i want to cry so just know this anon feels your pain and i hope it gets better now that trump can't be supreme trade overlord king of the world
me too anon i've had a couple moments in here with people who work in adjacent fields and i know it's been such a nightmare for us all but hopefully this is one less fucking thing to deal with and god yeah if i get one more "mention all company" teams ping about tariff updates i swear to god
